“Ouch. What made ya do something like that?”

“It wasn’t on purpose! I was traveling to get away from my home and….then I fell out and hit the ground.”

“…so cute.”

“Thank you. Mr. Aster, would you mind showing me around?”

“Sure, cutie! Right this way.~” holds his arm out.

She laces her arm with his, gently. “Thank you, Mr. Aster. It’s very kind of you. By any chance, do you know where to get food?”

“I’m not entirely certain, actually. I have slight amnesia, probably from hitting my head into the ground slightly too hard. Thank you.”

“Seth? Isn’t that like a dude’s name or something? I’m Aster.”

“I wouldn’t really know, actually. I’m not from around here. It’s lovely to meet you, though.”

“Hi there. My name is Seth. It’s nice to meet you.”

“What am I doing?”

Seth took her steps, carefully, through the dim lights that surrounded her. She had found this town, of course, and it seemed relatively safe and normal. There were some people around, but not as many as there could be. Maybe she had just wandered into the wrong part of town. At the very least, she knew where she was going- the one place where things were slightly different. Especially at this time.

What about that? She wondered, watching a small bug fly by. It would be the first of many that she would see tonight, but she doubted that any humans would join her. This place was remote, isolated- a place where people didn’t normally go because of the way that they thought and saw the world. They didn’t recognize that it took a lot to make a little; all of the cells that worked together to make trees and the atoms to make water.

She released her breath that she didn’t realize she was holding when she arrived at her ‘palace’- a place full of green, full of life. There was a beautiful, picturesque pond that dominated the center, small stones surrounding the edge and a path around it. A rough one, made of dirt and nothing fancier, but it was perfect for the scene. The trees leaned slightly toward the center, for they seemed to know about what the water could do, what it could create. There were a few benches that sat around it, nested cozily against the shurbs.

Only one thing was really missing, but she knew that they would come out soon. Lightning bugs, hundreds of them, that danced above this pond in the nighttime. She was ecstatic about this, for they were as fascinating to her as the human conversations that she had heard.

She sat on the grass by the water, rubbing her hands against the delightful green.

“Maybe one day I could share this with someone…” She muttered to the fish in the pond and the first fireflies that arrived.

[[ I CAN WORK WITH TRAINS. HOW ELSE AM I SUPPOSED TO GET PLACES. I AM FRANKENSTEIN’S MONSTER WITH A PIKACHU HAT. LEAVE ME TO MY INSANITY. ]]

Seth looked up, seeing the person that she had interrupted.

“My name is… Seth.” She pushed herself up from the ground, her legs wobbling slightly from the impact; she almost fell back down.

This guy is definitely looking at me oddly… She thought as she sort of backed up from the guy. She glanced around after a moment- she’d been here before. Why can I never get anywhere efficiently?!

Who are you?”

((I LIKE TRAINS BUT IT’D MORE OR LESS BE A SUBWAY IN DURARARA. I AM JUSTINE! I WILL EVOKE ALL THE FEELINGS WITH MY DEATH))

“I am Izaya.  You must be new here.” He grinned. “It’s not safe in this city to walk alone.  Where exactly did you come from?”

[[WELL, LIKE. SHE’S FROM A DIFFERENT PLANET. JUST SAYING. Also, you’re much more approachable than every other Izaya ever. I AM THE CREATURE THAT WILL REALTE TO YOU BECAUSE I AM FANTASTIC. ]]

Didn’t you just watch me fall from the fucking sky? Seth thought, he expression becoming slightly angrier.

“Ike-Ikebukuro, right?” Seth said, tasting the name with the few memories that were attached to it. “I’ve been here before, once.”

She fell into step with the other. “I was in Celestia, Capitol. I took a train, and it seems to have crashed over your city.”

((STILL. LOLS I WILL GUILT TRIP ALL OF YA’LL And that’s cause idk what I’m doing))

“Crashed over my city?” He repeated curiously. “Well this is interesting are you sure you didn’t bump your head?” He laughed. “Of course stranger things have happened.”

“I might have…” She mumbled, looking down. “But I know where I fell from, and I think you have noticed as well.”

She sighed, looking around. How many times was this going to happen before she could find somewhere safe to stay?

[[SUDDENLY PASTA SALAD. I KIND OF LIKE IT]]

He strolled down the street watching the humans that passed.  He was watching their every move but they would never know.  Things had been boring recently.  He needed something new to play with: another life to manipulate.

There were quite a few new people in the city.  Perhaps one of them might be of interest.  He pulled out his phone and scrolled through the address book.  If not someone new he had plenty others to bother.

[[Sorry in advance. This is going to be pretty rough.]]

Seth had boarded this train hours ago, though she knew not that that amount of time had passed. She was alone in the car; no one else had boarded with her, which she supposed was odd. Nevertheless, she should have landed awhile ago. She turned her head to look out the window-nothing but black, like her home.

She stood to go towards the front of the train, or find someone to ask a question to about when they might be stopping, but it shook violently, throwing her onto the ceiling, as though the car had fallen. She didn’t scream of make any noise, but sounds did raise around her.

Voices- voices of many people, moving and such, as though this were a city. The train car faded away, and she found herself falling to the ground. She crashed into it, landing uncomfortably on her shoulder.

Ouch…She thought, rolling over and looking up to where a person stood. A small noise of surprise escaped her lips as other people came into focus.

“I’m sorry for interrupting your tralala-ing..”

((are you happy?  FRANKSTEIN WITH A HAT WHAT IS WITH YOU AND TRAINS))

“Ah and who might you be?” He asked with a curious glare.  The girl looked human enough but lost.  This would be a fun one to mess with.
